Where is Teenline Based?
We are the only National Charity Based in Tallaght
Is the Helpline only for teenager callers?
We are here to answer calls from teenagers from the ages of 13-19 however we do not refuse any calls we receive.
How many hours do you have to volunteer?
The maximum amount of hours is 9 hours per month
Is Training provided?
Yes full training is provided, it is run on Saturdays and evenings.
How confidential is the service?
We are committed to providing a complete confidential service to all our callers.
How long do I have to volunteer for?
We ask that you commit to Teen-Line for at least one year.
What age do I have to be to Volunteer?
To be a Helpline Volunteer you need to be 21years of age and over.
I don’t want to do the helpline, can I volunteer to do something else?
Yes we are always looking for people to help us with fundraising.
Are there male and female volunteers?
Yes we have a mix of female and male volunteers of all ages.
Is it a nice place to volunteer?
We have a lovely team of volunteers that support each other in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
